Angular and Pretty Sounds from Queens

drew Every time I listen, another track catches my ear, including the less angular, but still pretty, closer Flamingo Pink. I'm going with Chartreuse Green for my favorite, though, because I really like the way it's put together. Taken as a whole, this is a solid album that bears repeated listening. Favorite track: Chartreuse Green.

World of Echo My darling eldest daughter, Mango, graces the cover, and goddamn, but I do I love that cover. I do love the music too; I think this is an underrated album of mine (or at least it's one where where I regard it varies from people whose name starts with a J and ends with an Ustin Thomas). This is also very cohesive sounding, with me using a lot of the same sounds across tracks and trying to make an effort at something approaching lo-fi hip-hop (obvi what came out isn't quite that--it never is). Favorite track: Flamingo Pink.

about

This album was essentially completed at the end of May, but then certain circumstances occurred that exacerbated my depression and anxiety (and, hey, this messed up world already does a fine enough job heightening those two as is). Lately I've been starting to get back to my standard level of depression and anxiety, so I wanted to tweak and sequence this album while my brain was willing. However, I struggled with song titles (when they're just demos on my laptop, they're saved as things like "ambientjjjaazzzz," "cr78beat06," "sleepyuroghslq," etc.)—I was only able to come up with about four titles, so I scrapped them and just gave every song a color name. Sorry these liner notes are a drag. I hope you enjoy this album; it's not perfect, but I've never been aiming for perfect either.

about

Fewer Notes New York, New York

I make music that I want to listen to myself, and that helps me mentally stay afloat. Some people that are not me have been known to like it too. If you turn out to be one of them, then that's cool beans. ♡
