While this is as solid an offering as any in the FN catalogue, when I listen to it I mostly feel grateful to have new music from them to listen to, and a heartfelt hope that there will be much more in the years to come. 🙏🏻 Favorite track: Angles without Edges (Shoutout, Yesterdays New Quintet).

World of Echo If you're wondering, "Hey, did the nurse from track 2 ever see the song title in question?" The answer is, yes, it was the third or second to last chemo round before transplant. He said, "Still making beats, huh?" And I awkwardly confirmed and was like, “Er, yeah, and I even referenced you in a song. It’s dumb…" I showed him, he stared and said nothing. Which, 100% appropriate. Favorite track: Opossums in Floral Costumes.

I was diagnosed with AML, July 6th, and was admitted to the hospital shortly after for treatment. I was there for seven weeks and am now doing outpatient treatment until I can eventually get bone marrow and stem cell transplants. This album is dedicated to my doctors, nurses, social workers, and entire medical team at Mount Sinai, led by Dr. Tremblay, whom not only made it possible for me to put this music out, but are also trying their hardest to make it possible for me to put future music out too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
